Anthony (Ferdinand) Struwer (Jakarta, Indonesia, 1942) is an Indonesian-Swedish-Dutch artist who grew up in Indonesia, then called the Dutch Indies, and the Netherlands. He lives in Sweden since the ‘60s, but his Indonesian background remains a strong source of inspiration for his poetic, colorful work. Anthony puts it like this: “Colors are the wings of my thoughts”.
